This week's new release Friday is heavy on the metal, but we like it! Here's a quick rundown:
The legendary Obsessed are back with a brand new album! These DC legends were one of the pioneers of doom metal, and their new LP comes to us courtesy of Relapse Records.
Next up we have the new album from Sweden's Wolfbrigade, Run with the Hunted, on Southern Lord. This Swedish band knows their way around a d-beat, and this is a fine slice of Scandinavian Jawbreaker-style hardcore
Next up the great Nuclear War Now! Records hits us with a reissue of Conqueror's 2003 death metal opus War.Cult.Supremacy:
Moving into the punk realm, we have a reissue of the complete recording sessions from Antiseen's very first EP, Drastic, newly expanded to include every track they recorded at that session, including a number that have never been released before.
And finally we have a restock of probably the most underrated Poison Idea album, their second LP, War All the Time. We had copies of this in a few weeks ago, but they went quickly, so don't sleep this time! This is an absolute classic and completely essential to the P.I. canon.
