PRODUCT & STOCK

Do you have gift cards?

Yes! You can purchase them here and at our storefront.

Is your entire stock online?

While all NEW items at our brick and mortar store are immediately put online, our used stock is mostly in-store, on our Discogs account, with a curated selection available on the web store.

Will you be getting 'XYZ' in stock?

PLEASE don't hesitate to contact us to see if we'll be carrying the latest releases from your favorite artists. We try to keep our finger on the pulse for new punk releases worldwide and bring in a variety of genres, but our customers turn us on to cool new stuff all the time. We appreciate the help!

Can you restock sold out items?

We try to restock titles that sell out quickly but it really depends on the pressing and what we can get from the distributors and labels. The best way to stay up to date is sign up for our Weekly Newsletter.

Do you offer a wholesale?

If you're interested in wholesale opportunities with Sorry State, please email us at sorrystatedistribution@gmail.com.

Is your stock cataloged?

All of our new stock and any of used stock priced over $5 goes into our inventory system. If you would like to know if we have a new or used item in stock, you can reach out and we'll be able to tell you!

SHIPPING

Can I combine multiple orders?

Yes! Please email us with BOTH order numbers you'd like combined and we will refund the difference, depending on the weight of the combined package. We can combine orders on our WEB STORE and our DISCOGS account. Our processing times are between 1-3 business days so please let us know any changes in a timely manner. If you received tracking for an order, we cannot combine it with another one. We also have a really handy HOLD PILE option; read more about it below.

What are your processing times?

We pride ourselves on having one of the quickest mail orders in punk! Our processing times are usually between 1-3 business days. If your order takes longer than that, we might be experiencing an overwhelming amount of orders from a new product, a staff shortage, or we're trying to locate the things you ordered!  

What is a hold pile?

We offer a Hold Pile service so you don't have to miss out on any of our new releases! Instead of paying for shipping for every LP you order, you can use the coupon code HOLDPILE at checkout. It will take off the shipping cost and alert our mail order staff to hold your order. We will hold your order, and any orders you subsequently make with the HOLDPILE coupon code, until you alert us you're ready to ship. At that time we will calculate a shipping cost, you'll pay via PayPal, and we will send your order out within 1-3 business days!

I'm local, can I pick up in store?

Yes! For our web store orders, use the coupon code PICKUP and we will hold your order until you come pick it up. Please provide an email address at check out so we can email you when your order is ready. Some items might be at our warehouse, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee pickup orders being ready same day.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to most countries in the world. If you would like to know a shipping estimate, please create a cart and see the cost at checkout as that will be the most accurate total. Please read below for our international shipping processes!

How do you package shipments?

As avid online record buyers ourselves, we try to package all orders as safely as possible. We use boxes and basic record mailers, if you would like to upgrade to a double box or Whiplash mailer, we have those options available! We highly recommend using these options for any international orders or if you're worried about how your local post office will handle the packages.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

PLEASE READ: International Shipping Process

We use a company called Asendia for all of our international shipping. After we print your shipping label, we ship your package to Asendia's warehouse in Philadelphia, where it is forwarded to your country and then to the carrier who delivers the parcel. There may be a long wait (up to two weeks) between when we create the shipping label and when you see the next update to your tracking. Delivery usually happens in just a few days after that next update.

Where do you ship?

We try to ship to most countries but have experienced issues with a few places. Currently, we cannot provide shipping to Chile and Indonesia.

How much does international shipping cost?

The best way to get an accurate shipping cost estimate will be to add all of the items you want to your cart and proceed with check out until you see a shipping cost. Costs depend on the amount and type of items in your order and where in the world you'll have your package shipped!

Do you pay duties?

We are currently working on covering duty costs for international shipments. As of right now, we are unable to cover any additional fees you'll experience once your package arrives at its destination. We hope to cover duties and fees in the near future so please check back!

ISSUES?

My order was shipped but I haven't received it yet!

All mail carriers have been experiencing extreme delays. We ask for your patience, as orders are taking a bit longer to reach their destination.

My tracking hasn't updated!

As stated above, mail carriers are going through extreme delays. We ask that you please wait at least 30 days after the last tracking update before contacting us.

My tracking hasn't updated in 30+ days!

Please reach out to us at sorrystatecontact@gmail.com! In the meantime, you can submit a lost package claim through USPS.

My order is incorrect!

While we try to make sure everything is accurate, we're human, so mistakes happen! We are so sorry if it happens to you! We will do whatever we can to make it right so please email sorrystatecontact@gmail.com with the following information:

1. ORDER NUMBER & name

2. Photos, if applicable

3. A detailed description of what is wrong (damaged, missing, incorrect items, etc)
