'Looking Back On What I've Lost' is a sophomore effort by Singapore-based multi-instrumentalist, Izzad Radzali Shah (Daily Ritual, SIAL), to be released for the first time on vinyl format under the moniker 'Zado'.
This second full-length album marks the artist's departure from minimalist punk rock and monotonous drum machines that served as the key sound of Zado's Debut 2019 release, 'Zado & The Frail Bodies' to a much more developed sound committed to the process of recording live instruments as cathartic experience. Izzad wrote and recorded the entire album himself in a cold small room somewhere in Singapore.
The album shares themes of discontent and hopelessness but maintains the upbeat melodic punk energy laced with catchy pop sensibilities to make night walks in the city bearable
