Debut LP from this fast-moving band out of DC who have roots in the North Carolina scene (drummer Connor and guitarist Ace are both from Raleigh). It makes sense that two of these guys are from NC, as Red Death pretty openly rep their COC influence / obsession. They don't sound like a tribute act, though... basically, this is COC's Animosity
filtered through the lens of modern hardcore, specifically the NWODCHC. So take Out Cold, Animosity
-era COC, and the precise, very tight modern hardcore sound explored by labels like Painkiller and Beach Impediment, wrap it up in some really strong and heavy production, and you have this firecracker of a record.
