Since I heard this demo was a non-stop effort on the plate. 4 perfect songs of pure HARDCORE. This recording is simply complete, taking the evolution of the band (really active touring US and playing shows). Taking roots on early 80s Boston hardcore like DYS or NEGATIVE FX but also giving their own influence of Mexican 90s punk sound and carrying the name of the new mexican hardcore sound of bands appearing in the last years. One-sided RED flexi with withe ink printed labels, included insert with lyrics and artwork and cover printed in "estraza" clear-grey paper in the rough side giving a really nice end to the record. Limited to 250 copy.

Our take: Debut flexi from this band from Mexico City. While much of the Mexican punk I've heard over the past few years has had a raw and gritty quality (as one might expect given the social climate in Mexico at the moment), Cadenaxo have a very American sound. Basically, they sound like American skinhead hardcore, particularly bands like Negative FX and Negative Approach. You could put them on a bill with Firing Squad and Chain Rank and no one would bat an eye. It's powerfully recorded and the songs are written and performed succinctly and with more than their fair share of catchiness. Definitely recommended if you're a fan of this style.
