Black Flag: Slip It In 12"
This was actually the first Black Flag record I heard back when I was like 12 years old, and to this day it's still one of my favorites. It's certainly one of the most intense of the later records, and you can tell the band was listening to lots of Stooges and similarly straightforward, rocking pre-punk music. There's a definite "rock" vibe to nearly every song, but it's still the 'Flag so everything is delivered with maximum intensity. Solid production on this one, too, which is something you can't necessarily say about all of their records. SST Records
