Raw like festering needle wounds on the forearm of the heroinist, debut Buzzov-en - To a Frown, this album is ugly, filled with classic Sothern rock riffs, heavy metal charm, a disk steeped in noise rock and above all the aggression and fury of the early achievements of the Black Flag. Snarling & sizzling, on the edge of the growl, Kirk's vocals dominate the heavy and hypnotic section. Buzzov-en reached for the dark traditions of South American music, only that they turned them on with a heavy sound, sludge blues spiced up with a narcotic addiction and a painful dose of aggression.
