Since Sorry State's Raleigh, NC retail store is currently closed to limit the spread of COVID-19, we're offering local pickup and delivery options for our brick-and-mortar regulars based in the Raleigh area. Here's how the process works: first, add the items that you would want to your shopping cart (which works like pretty much any other ecommerce website, so hopefully you don't run into any problems there; note also we'll be adding as much of our inventory as possible to our online shop over the next few weeks).

When you enter the checkout phase you'll get to a screen that looks like this. Click the link that says "add a discount code or gift card."

If you would like to pick up your order at our store, enter the code PICKUP. This code will automatically remove the shipping charges for your order and prompt us to hold it for you rather than ship it out. You'll get a notification via email or text when we pull your order and mark it fulfilled, at which time it will be available for pickup. You can give us a call at 919-977-4704 or an email to arrange a time to come by the store. We're currently planning on being in the shop during our normal business hours of 12-8PM Monday-Saturday and 12-7PM on Sunday. Please do not come to the shop before you are notified; some of our stock is located at our off-site warehouse, in which case your order won't be ready for pickup until the next day.

We'll also deliver your order if you live within a 15-mile radius of the shop. Just enter the code DELIVERY in the same spot. This code will automatically remove the shipping charges from your order and prompt us to deliver your order rather than shipping it out. For now, we're limiting this service to orders $40 and up, though that may change as we figure out our costs for this service. Please note that we're pretty much making this up as we go along, so please feel to reach out to us with specific requests and/or feedback about the process. These are difficult times for everyone, but we're doing our best to keep good music on everyone's turntables!
