My absolute favorite Huskers record. On this album I think they achieved the perfect balance between the raw hardcore intensity of their earlier releases and the hooks that would emerge on (and eventually dominate) later records. This one is just a front-to-back ripper, and contains my very favorite Huskers song, "First of the Last Calls." I dare you to put that one on and tell me it's not one of the greatest punk songs ever written. SST Records
