9 Shocks Terror: Paying Ohmage 12" (PRE-ORDER)

In the late nineties 9 Shocks brought a whole long forgotten breath of life and aggression with their brand of old US and foreign influenced HC at a time when just about everything was dominated by '77 style punk throwbacks, street punk fashionites, Victory Records short-haired metal, Indie rock, Power Violence becoming neutered and Emo rapidly ascending into orbit. Their peers were few and far between at the time, but they got off their asses and in a busted ass van to show anyone and everyone they could that the maladjusted misfits, pissed as all hell, were still alive and well to prey on the unsuspecting. Released in 2001, this Ip documents them at their total peak, and many couldn't help but be forced to take total notice of their complete disdain of how safe and nice all the punk trends had become. It wasn't just a band playing music, it was a violent, anti-social barrage of absolute nihilism that MANY people were still looking for in their punk rock at a time that seemed so carefully curated by the opposite of the chaos and unpredictability that they loved. May this reissue keep their legacy afloat, and earn them a new school of true believers in making punk rock a real threat to one's senses and wellbeing again!
