From the depths of Nantes punk comes the vinyl debut of PRECIPICE. A project born during the Covid months in Rob's mind, he recorded four tracks that ended up being the band's demo, never with the idea of ending up as a full band, which fortunately happened, and recorded those songs plus other new ones as a full band, making up the eight tracks of this debut LP. What we find now is a consistent act of contemporary punk and hardcore with a strong focus on the American sound of the second wave of the 80s, where we can find marked influences from bands like DIE KREUZEN or NO TREND... as well as touches of the chaos and darkness of SPIKE IN VAIN. Another excellent example of evolutionary and non-stagnant punk, unafraid to experiment with chaotic drum rhythms, guitar riffs in hypnotic loops and a good dose of rawness and darkness that is capable of immersing you in a mental labyrinth from which you will only be able to escape once the little more than 13 minutes that leave you in free fall into a precipice of punk hallucinations are over.
