Hello and welcome to the latest installment of the Sorry State Records newsletter!
We’re a bit frazzled over here at the Sorry State warehouse. Danny has moved on to his new job and being down a person right when the K.O.S. and Rat Cage pre-orders came in has us scrambling to keep up. Your order might take a couple extra days at the moment, but hopefully we’ll be all caught up by Monday. Don’t let that discourage you from ordering, though, because as usual there is lots to tell you about.
The new Kohti Tuhoa album on La Vida Es Un Mus is up for pre-order. I’ve heard it and it is a MONSTER. Read more about it below. Also on La Vida Es Un Mus is our Record of the Week from another one of our current favorites, Rat Cage. We sold out of the limited Rat Cage LPs but the black vinyl rages just as hard. In the Featured Releases section, we go a little deeper on recent standouts from New York’s Baby Killer and Richmond’s Dream World and Subversas. And then there are a ton of new arrivals in the distro to tell you all about.
