Hello and welcome to the Sorry State Records newsletter! Busy times over here. In fact, I probably would have skipped this week’s newsletter as I’m on my 10th consecutive day without a day off, but we had so many cool new releases come in this week that it seemed silly not to let y’all know about them. We did slim down this week’s newsletter, though, as I gave everyone the week off from writing staff picks. I try to keep a healthy balance of “interesting stuff to read” versus “spammy product updates,” so hopefully everyone will forgive me. And, of course, if you’re looking for some new music (particularly new international punk and hardcore), you’ll certainly want to give us a scroll this week.
