Demo cassette from this Philadelphia band that has been getting a bit of talk, and with good reason. I was talking to Jeff about this demo the other day and he said it's funny that there' a hammer and sickle on the cover because it kind of reminded him of the Stalin. I think there's definitely something to be said for that comparison... while there isn't anything as catchy or as developed as Stop Jap, I can certainly see a bit of Trash's raw, riffy pummel in here. It also reminds me a bit of bands over the past few years who kind of sit in that little spot where it could be garage-punk or it could be hardcore... I'm thinking Bad Advice, Brutal Knights, though this is a lot rawer than those bands ever were. Regardless, this is a ripper of a demo.
