Debut EP from this Olympia, Washington hardcore band. You can probably tell from the cover on this one that you'll be getting some Scandinavian-inspired d-beat, and that's exactly what you get. The production here is incredibly bass-heavy and huge-sounding, which is really something that can elevate this genre. Anti-Cimex is the obvious starting (and maybe the ending point?) here, but the super mid-range-y guitars give this a unique feel... the production on this almost feels similar to the kind of sound that Hoax has sounded, but obviously there's a very different sound, style, and vibe at work here. Regardless, this is some ripping, raw hardcore from the always-reliable Warthog Speak label.
