German thrash metal legends Sodom formed in 1981, taking inspiration from bands such as Motörhead, Venom, Tank, Accept, and AC/DC. Sodom's pioneering musical style has subsequently influenced countless black, death and thrash metal bands for over three decades and counting. For the first time since it's initial release in 1985, the cult debut EP In the Sign of Evil from the group is back on proper vinyl. Deluxe package includes eight-page full color 12" x 12" booklet packed with previously unpublished photos hand-picked by the band, plus liner notes from Tankard frontman Gerre as well as Snakepit magazine founder Frank Stöver featuring first-hand accounts from the early days of Sodom. First pressing of 1,000 features a laser-etched b-side.
