The noise here is vicious and great. Unique and unhinged guitar sounds, creating extreme chorus between layers with subtle detuning brings a bit of Harry Partch to the otherwise boots and denim feel on this ep. We're given a pneumatic infinity of fuzz and thunder at the speeds of machine built into tempo shifts of utter languor and exhaustion. If you want that translated into English, think UK82 speed churning into fits of mid-tempo grooveless violent slamming (a compliment). No airs or graces here, just 4 beats per bar with messages of despair over the top. Lyrically this deviates from the outward negativity of DiE and looks inward at the patterns of exploitation everyday people face (let alone those less fortunate). The lyrics are sad and depressing but directed at the self and not exclusively the world. Brilliant DIY style sleeve and faithful yet polished cover of UK obscuro excellence \"Ultimatum\" by Klips 1988 round out this excellent and much needed life raft in a sea of 'going for it' but low grade neophyte bullshit.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Sonic Terror Discs","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67795040862462,"sku":"261019800","price":10.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0255\/7539\/files\/skint-the-vauxhall-tracks-ep-7_hqRrp.jpg?v=1792435400","url":"https:\/\/www.sorrystaterecords.com\/products\/skint-the-vauxhall-tracks-ep-7","provider":"Sorry State Records","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
