(Unofficial, I'm gathering) reissue of one of the best 80s post-punk records. I know that post-punk and death rock are big right now, but I think that this record really showcases, by contrast, the lack of depth with which so many modern bands pursue this style. Nowadays it seems like most bands want to create a really consistent vibe that they carry through basically every song they write, but Siekiera (who actually started out as a tear-ass HC band) seem more about the infinite possibilities that the post-punk framework opened. Really, this LP is right up there with the UK greats like the Sound, Joy Division, Magazine, Wire, etc. Absolutely essential.
