Raw Nerves / Acts of Sedition: Split 7"

Man in Decline Records

$1.50 $5.00

Portland's Raw Nerves are up next with their best material yet, really nailing their Deathreat-like style of HC right on the head. Whenever I hear Raw Nerves I think of that "the dream of the 90s are alive in Portland" song from Portlandia, because Raw Nerves remind me so much of 90s bands like Born Against, Copout, and (especially) Deathreat, bands who took 80s HC as a foundation but aren't afraid to add other influences here and there. Don't let that dissuade you, though, because this is straight up raw, 80s-inspired HC. As for Acts of Sedition, their Tragedy-esque vocals make them sound a little bit heavier and crustier, but musically they're right along the same lines. Great split! Man in Decline Records
