In January, Washington, D.C. based punk band Priests will release their full-length debut, Nothing Feels Natural, via Sister Polygon Records. Recorded in the fall of 2016 with Kevin Erickson and Hugh McElroy (Black Eyes), the LP is the culmination of two years of near constant touring, writing, and recording. Thematically, Nothing can be understood as a series of vignettes -- nine stories that crystallize into a bigger picture about the economics of human relationships, the invisibility of feminized labor, and the theoretical dual purpose of art for the group and the individual. Formed in 2011, Priests are Katie Alice Greer (vocals), Daniele Daniele (drums), Taylor Multiz (bass), and G.L. Jaguar (guitar).
