Finally, Sorry State gets copies of one of the most talked-about releases of the year, the debut LP from Denmark's Ice Age. By now even your grandmother has probably downloaded this from a blogspot somewhere, but on the off chance you haven't heard it, these guys play a pretty unique, ramshackle combination of post-punk and hardcore. It sort of sound like a sloppy high school band attempting to cover Joy Division, but the drummer only listens to bands on 625 Records and wants every song to sound like that. That description probably sounds terrible, but honestly I like this LP and think it has something fairly unique going on. What's Your Rupture Records
