Hounds of Hate: S/T 12"
Debut LP from this Pennsylvania straight edge band. I remember there being a heavy DFTS-era Warzone vibe on their earlier 7", but Hounds of Hate expand the sound a bit on this LP, still sounding like late 80s NYHC but not letting themselves be pinned down to one particular influence. Still, you can feel the New Breed comp's fingerprints all over this thing, particularly in the kind of bouncy rhythms that characterized bands like Absolution and first LP-era Sick of It All.
