Musically, this pretty much picks up right where the last two Parquet Courts 12"s left off... if anything they've gotten even simpler and more direct, with many songs just being built around a very few chords, sometimes even just one. The minimalism really works in their favor as this is a band that just sounds good playing together, and if you dig anything from early Wire to Krautrock to modern garage you'll probably agree. Recommended listening.
