Pentagram: First Daze Here 12"

Bobby Liebling and Pentagram have been churning out widely admired hard rock/doom metal for over four decades. The Washington D.C. band is largely regarded as having pioneered not one but two sub-genres of hard rock. At the onset of the 1970's, they helped birth the behemoth known as 'heavy metal' and years later they'd be planting the seed of what would become known as 'doom'. Originally released in 2001, First Daze Here is the first of two Pentagram compilations which gather rare and unreleased studio recordings and live rehearsals from the early 70's. It was followed by 2006's First Daze Here Too.
