Debut 7" from Liquids. Pressed in South America (hence the cost) and very limited, we only have a few. I know this is expensive, but get this now or probably pay a lot more later down the road on Discogs.
Our take: Latest 6-song EP from this impossibly prolific band out of (I believe) Northwest Indiana. How the hell does this band write so many killer songs? Do they have an off-shore factory pumping them out? Do they have separate facilities for their blistering hardcore songs and their mid-paced catchy punk tunes? How do the band members keep track of them all? While these 6 songs aren't quite as jaw-droppingly great as their LP (mostly because the production isn't quite as bright and punchy), I've yet to hear a Liquids release that had even the slightest whiff of half-assedness. This is the type of band that makes you angry they're so good. If you dig on the current sounds coming out of this part of the country (Coneheads, CCTV, etc.) and/or you have a soft spot for the scrappy, pop-oriented very early Lookout! releases then you should be following around this band with a magnifying glass, looking for clues as to when and where they'll drop their next release.
