Second release from this amazing band from Vancouver. The guitars fall somewhere between Pink Flag and any Agnew related band. The synth pops in and out to add texture rather than accentuating the melody. The bass seems to switch back and forth between throbbing low end and technical high end parts. The drums seem to glue all this together. The vocals feel as if they're being shouted at the listener in accusation, driping with venom. This still feels brighter and a little less oppressive than their Soylent Clean cassette, especially the song Hypocrite II which ends with a very melodic, almost optomistic feeling. It's like the sun popping out after a long overcast day.
