Burial: Hungry Wolves 7"

4-song 7" from this ripping German band who plays in the Japanese "Burning Spirits" style. More than just tribute artists, Burial really distill a lot of the disparate elements of the Burning Spirits tradition down to a remarkably cohesive and powerful whole. I think this band just writes perfect hardcore songs, and the fact that they have the huge production of the classic Japanese bands only multiplies the impact. An essential record in my opinion.
