Judging from their name, Suicidal Tendencies was never afraid of a little controversy. Formed in Venice, CA, during the early-80s, the group's leader from the beginning was outspoken vocalist Mike Muir. The outfit specialized in vicious hardcore early on - building a huge following among skateboarders, lending a major hand in the creation of skatepunk - before turning their focus eventually to thrash metal on albums like 1990's Grammy nominated Lights Camera RevolutionProduced by Mark Dodson (Anthrax, Judas Priest), the bass thumping, guitar shredding and drum pounding masterpiece is awash in dark and angry head bangers like "You Can't Bring Me Down," "Give It Revolution," "Get Whacked," "Send Me Your Money" and "Disco's Out, Murder's In."
